a fine, hand-printed trial proof of the second, final state
printing with rich burr, a light plate tone, and sharp, inky plate edges
this impression not recorded by Hofmaier among the seven proofs of this state
before the edition of fifty impressions published by I.B. Neumann, Berlin, 1918
with margins
the platemark partially broken at left, with two short associated tears
otherwise in good condition
