The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with wide margins, the sheet probably the full width but slightly reduced in height.
- some pale splashes of a light brown liquid in the margins and edges of the subject, mainly visible in the lower margin.
- some pale mount staining outside the platemark.
- very minor surface dirt and some unobtrusive handling creases in the margins.
- a tiny nick at the left sheet edge.
- inscribed with the number 893 in an oval in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described, the subject in good condition.
