The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges at left and right.
- the sheet slightly toned and with very minor staining and surface dirt, and occasional pinpoint foxmarks in the margins.
- a long oblique fold along the lower sheet edge at left; another shorter fold towards the lower left sheet corner.
- some creases in margins.
- a short, backed tear (circa 15 mm.) at the upper sheet edge near the corner, a shorter tear (8 mm.) at the lower right sheet edge.
- inscribed in pencil with the Gallwitz number 62 d at lower left recto. - remains of old, white paper hinges at the left corners verso.
Otherwise as described, the subject in very good condition.
