The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet with wide margins (the dimensions conforming to those called for by Hofmaier).
- a long, oblique crease across the upper left margin, some other shorter creases in the upper left sheet corner.
- various other, minor creases elsewhere at the sheet edges and corners.
- several short tears and nicks (the longest circa 10 mm.) at the lower and right sheet edge.
- a few small, unobtrusive foxmarks and very pale light-staining and surface dirt in the margins.
- time staining along the extreme sheet edges.
- some backboard staining verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
