The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a smudge of light-brown pigment in the right margin, a few similar but smaller pigment stains in the lower margin.
- some other minor stains and handling marks in the margins elsewhere.
- a minor crease and small surface abrasion in the lower right sheet corner.
- a crease across the upper right sheet corner.
- a couple of other minor handling creases in the lower margin and elsewhere.
- remains of old hinges at the upper and lower left sheet corners verso.
- a Hamburg customs stamp at the upper right sheet corner verso, and a pencil inscription relating to the title and date of the print in German at the lower sheet edge verso, inscribed with the numbers 14 in a circle and 7.1 verso.
Otherwise as described, the subject in very good condition.
