The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the sheet trimmed slightly irregularly.
- a few pinpoint rust marks and foxmarks in places.
- pale light-staining.
- some soft creasing throughout, mainly visible in raking light.
- the tip of the lower left sheet corner slightly folded.
- a short curved pressure mark in the upper margin to the right, mainly visible in raking light.
- with remains of old paper hinges at the upper corners verso, with associated soft creasing.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
