The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the sheet toned, with light- and mount staining, with some associated pale discolouration.
- some pinpoint foxmakrs in the subject and elsewhere.
- a crease at lower left corner across the signature.
- a small indentation at the upper sheet edge to the right.
- some soft handling creases in places, mainly visible in raking light.
- some minor surface dirt in places.
- small areas of skinning at the lower corners verso, where previously hinged.
- inscribed 1/3 S ... Jahre and with other inscriptions in pencil verso.
