The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges at left, right and below.
- the deckle edges quite irregular (inherent in the hand-made paper).
- promounced light- and mount staining around the image and platemark.
- a few small foxmarks and some very minor surface dirt in the margins.
- Picasso's crayon signature fresh and strong.
- small skinned areas at the sheet corners verso where previously mounted; remains of old paper hinging tape in places at the sheet edges verso.
