The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with 8 mm. margins on all sides.
- pale light- and mount staining, some time staining at the extreme sheet edges, some surface dirt in the margins.
- some pale backboard staining and remains of hinging tape and old adhesive along the sheet edges and corners verso, with some associated skinning where removed.
- some pale foxmarks, mainly visible verso.
- an irregular crease on the legs and bum of the woman, mainly visible in raking light.
- some creasing in the lower sheet and lower right corner, mainly visible in raking light.
- inscribed with the number 6 in pencil in the lower right sheet corner recto.
- other smaller defects.
