Lot Essay

This bag is from Anya Hindmarch's personal collection and one of her favourites. She wore it to an event at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, California and she wore the same style when she collected her CBE.
Inspired by Anya's passion for making the everyday extraordinary, she spent many months working with specialist artisans in Italy to perfect the Crisp Packet clutch, ensuring each one is a unique piece of wearable art. The Crisp Packet takes seven hours to make. They first create a scan of the original products which are used to create moulds - there are seven different moulds used to create the Crisp Packet clutch - the bag is then hand-polished and hand-lined.
