In ,pools of light are caught in several articles of unkempt clothing, transforming them into bundles of radiant drapery fit for a classical painting. Folds of rumpled khaki seem to take on an ethereal glow that feels out of place against the muted mustard stripes of the stiff motel bedding, a trenchant example of Shore’s ability to elevate the mundane.
