Lot Essay

Kevin Frazer is a self-taught London based photographer whose interest in the medium developed in his early teens after having acquired a basic compact camera using the 110 size film popular in the late 70’s to early 80’s. His journey into creative photography began at the age of 16 after having acquired a 1976 Russian made Zenit E 35mm SLR camera with a variety of lenses. An upgrade to the Minolta SLR range followed in his twenties as well as a move to E6 slide photography and home film processing. Today, Frazer shoots mostly digital on Nikon cameras and lenses.
Frazer's work covers a broad range of subjects, but his primary interests are aviation and motorsport both of which have been lifelong interests. He also enjoys shooting landscape scenes in the South and South West coast of England – particularly out of season when most of these locations are low on visitors. In recent years, Frazer has branched into live music events and regularly works with musicians and bands on live performances and album promo work.

Frazer has a mobile studio and has operated on a commercial scale for a variety of clients in sport, acting, modelling, retail, corporate events and light industry.
