Lot Essay

Chen Yihang, sobriquet Zhengcheng, painter, calligrapher, and metaphysician, has been intersted in Chinese painting and calligraphy since his childhood. In 1991, he studied flower and landscape under Zhang Shaoshi; calligraphy under Zhang Jiazhen and Han Suixuan. In 1995, he furthered his studies under Zhao Shao'ang.
