Chui Tze Hung, born in Hong Kong, was originally from Dongguan County, Guangdong Province. He studied Chinese literature and Chinese art at China College. In the 1960s, he studied printmaking with the American printmaker Joan Farra, and later studied ink painting with Lui Shou-kwan.
He has served as a lecturer in the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong, the School of Continuing Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the School of Design of the Polytechnic University; he has taught in the Art Courses of the Baptist University’s Extra-curricular Department and the Faculty of Orthographic Design. His works have been exhibited in Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia and China.
