Lot Essay

Wang Huifang was a performer in Peking Opera. He was born in Beijing. The Wang family was a five generation Peking Opera performer. Wang learned the basics of Peking Opera from his father when he was young, and later studied under Wu Lingxian as his teacher, same as Mei Lanfang.
