NOTE:
Feng Zhongrui is one of the members of Taiwan's famous abstract group "May Painting Society" in the sixties. Under the influence of Western abstract expressionism, Feng creates with an approach that is free of constraints, emphasising the release of personal emotions. Feng begins with the foundation of Western abstraction. Combined with Eastern ink, it creates a new path towards traditional Chinese ink painting, searching for an abstract understanding of Eastern contemporary art.
