NOTE:
Huang Jin, otherwise known as Geng Lu, was born in Fengrun, Hebei Province, but settled in Hong Kong in 1993. He is currently the President of the Hong Kong Gongpen Painters Association. To self-learn Chinese painting, once he began with flowers and birds, learning landscapes came naturally. At the end of the last century, he began to draw horses in the claborate-style. He is skilled at expressing the structure of horses, capturing their spirit with colour and giving the subject matter a vivid form of expression.
