The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

(1) Scholar: Overall fair condition; there are a few areas of worm hole, crease and mould dots throughout the fan leaf.

(2) Narcissus: Overall good condition; there are a few areas of worm hole and crease.

(3) Trees and Birds: Overall very good condition, there are a few areas of tiny paper loss.

(4) Calligraphy: Excellent condition, there is a tiny paper loss in the left bottom of the fan.
