The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

(1) Boating: Overall very good condition, some creases along the upper and lower section, an area of silk loss in the bottom edge of the fan.

(2) Travel: Overall good condition, there are mould marks all through the fan, an area of restoration in the bottom edge.

(3) Calligraphy by Yin Qun: Overall very good condition, there are creases and silk loss around middle to lower section.

(4) Calligraphy by Xiang Langu: Overall good condition, there are areas of silk loss and mould stains.
