NOTE:
Luo Qing, also known as Luo Qingzhe, was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He moved to Taiwan with his parents after 1949. When he was 13 years old, he studied Northern Sect Landscape with Pu Ru, and at the age of 16, he studied Southern Sec ink-play with Ren Bowo. In 1972, he went to the United States to study. There, he held his first solo exhibition in the First National Bank of Seattle in the year 1973. After that, he held many more exhibitions at home and in places abroad. After returning to Taiwan, he taught at the National Taiwan University. Luo is a modern Taiwanese poet, calligrapher, and painter, who established himself for his new poetry and paintings.
