NOTE:
Yang Zuoming (1925–1984), a native of Chenghai, Chaozhou in Guangdong, later relocated to Malaysia for business. Studio name “Mingzhai.” He developed a deep passion for Chinese painting and calligraphy, devoting himself to the study of collecting and mounting. In the 1960s, upon the recommendation of the artist Yang Zhiguang, he visited Rongbaozhai in Beijing, Tianjin Art Gallery, and Shanghai Huayuan, where he acquired works by leading artists of the time.
