NOTE:
Born in Chongqing, Xiao Xu graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institution with a major in Chinese painting. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 2007 and 2010 respectively. During this time, Xiao acquired a strong foundation in drawing and a sound vision for artistic creation. Xiao has held many exhibitions abroad. He is skilled in claborate-style painting, and uses a darker colour pallete in his paintings. He utilises a traditional medium and artistic language to create a dreamy atmosphere in his paintings, engaging in dialogue between ancient and modern art.

The present owner acquired from Red Box Studio in Hong Kong in 2011.
