Seascape

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall excellent condition and ready to hang. Please note that these original watercolors became designs used in print-making and may contain holes, notations and/or other interesting marks. With scattered areas of light surface staining throughout. With rough cut left, right, and upper edges. With tape and tape residue along the edges. With a vertical line in ballpoint pen 5 in. from the left edge. With additional markings in ballpoint pen and lines in graphite tracing the profiles of painted forms. The paper with scattered registration pinholes throughout.

Reverse: Overall with light discoloration and watercolor and graphite remains. With 8¹⁄₂ x 8¹⁄₂ in. screen order form taped to reverse. Titled 'Seascape' (lower right, inverted). With later title, accession number, and date '"Seascape / 2016.2.197 / 7/26/76©' (lower right).
