The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good condition and ready to hang. Please note that these original watercolors became designs used in print-making and may contain holes, notations and/or other interesting marks. Painted sheet of paper taped to a support paper. Scattered areas of minor staining throughout. With vertical line in ballpoint pen. Long edges of the painted paper rough cut. With pieces of tape along the extreme edges of the painted paper holding it to the support paper, each approximately 3 in. long and 3⁄4 in. wide. An additional piece of tape at the extreme edge of the support paper. The support paper with various lines and markings in graphite and ballpoint pen. Overall with discoloration and scattered areas of light foxing to the paper, darkest along the edges. With numerous tears to the support paper, most notable a 51⁄2 in. tear to the upper left side. Three other tears to the upper edge of the support paper, each measuring approximately 1 in. With two hole punches across the upper edge of the support paper, both approximately 1⁄4 in. in diameter, with tearing around the left side hole. With additional scattered pinholes in the support paper.
Reverse: With scattered watercolor and graphite remains. With numerous mathematical calculations in graphite, concentrated on the lower right side. With later title, date, and accession number '"Par" / 2016.1.251 / 6/23/1972©.' (lower right). With 14 x 81⁄2 in. 'Key West Hand Print Fabrics design order work sheet' with cataloguing information taped to reverse.
