The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good condition and ready to hang. Please note that these original watercolors became designs used in print-making and may contain holes, notations and/or other interesting marks.
Close examination reveals scattered areas of light surface staining throughout. With rough cut left, right, and upper edges. With tape residue at the extreme corners, and a piece of tape on the upper right corner. With other scattered areas of tape residue with some minor paint losses. With three hole punches along the left edge, each 5⁄16 in. in diameter and one additional punch hole along the right edge, 1/4 in. in diameter. The paper with scattered pinholes throughout.
Reverse: Overall with remains of watercolor and graphite. With a minor darkened vertical crease at the center. With tape at upper left corner. Signed in graphite 'Jean Fraught [art technician] / July 9 '69' (center). Marked '22 1/4 x 15 / 2 Screens / 1 - brn / 2 - blk / ([illegible])' (right). Titled '#12 HEP CATS' and circled (lower left). With later date and accession number '7/8/69© / 2016.1.582' (lower left, sideways).
