Pretty Butters

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition and ready to hang. Please note that these original watercolors became designs used in print-making and may contain holes, notations and/or other interesting marks. With some minor surface staining consistent with age. With possible tape remains along the extreme edges, ¹⁄₂ in. wide. With rough cut short edges. With vertical median line in ballpoint pen. With horizontal lines in graphite tracing the profiles of painted forms. With eight pinholes to the extreme corners, two in each corner.

Reverse: Overall with scattered remains of watercolor and graphite. With later title, date, and accession number '"Pretty Butters” / 2016.1.392 / 2/1/74©' (upper right, sideways). With 14 x 8¹⁄₂ in.
