Lot Essay

This watercolor exemplifies Zuzek's impressive ability to integrate graphic patterns and animal figures. The dogs each have an individual and expressive face, some with their tongues out, a few napping, and one that even winks. A yellow polka dot is integrated into each dog's face and the black ground is filled with a smattering of additional white dots.
