The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheets are joined at the center vertical axis and hinged at the outer corners to the backing board. Tiny bumps are occasionally to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A minute transfer mark is to the right upper edge, and another is right of center in an unpainted passage. Pinpoint accretions are infrequent, most notably near the lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
