The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged periodically at the upper and vertical edges to the backing board and undulates. Artist's pinholes are to the corners. Minor bumping, soft creases, slight discoloration, faint transfer marks, and tiny nicks are occasionally to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Surface scuffs and fine abrasions are intermittent, some possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. A tiny spot of stray media is just right of the rightmost figure. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
