The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. Artist's pinholes are to the corners. Faint discoloration associated with the hinges is to each corner, and slight discoloration is to the extreme edges, with a more notable spot to the upper left corner. Minor bumping and tiny nicks are occasionally to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Two faint handling marks are to the upper left quadrant. Pinpoint spots of foxing are infrequent, most notably near the lower edge. Only visible under ultraviolet light, a few drip marks are to the upper right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
