The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet is hinged at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The right edge of the sheet is deckled. Artist's pinholes are to the upper corners, and a small loss is to the lower right corner. A few compressed impasto peaks are to the upper right quadrant and are stuck to the inside of the glazing.
