The silver backdrop has tiny black dots scattered all around.
Visible scratches to be found on (counting from the top) 5th Row, affecting the 3rd and 4th square and 6th Row, affecting the 4th square of the artwork.
There are some further lighter marks which can be seen by the naked eye depending on the angle the light hits the artwork. These marks are located on the first 2 squares of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Row.
All the squares which compose the artwork apart from the main central column have a slight concavity.
This may or may not have been intended when the artwork was created.
This work has been reframed in 2016.
