    Lot Essay



    Writer and artist Harland Miller is famed for his large paintings based on the dust jackets of Penguin books. In this series the Penguin motif, aspects of Pop Art, abstraction and figurative painting are combined with his love of text. This year Miller will be showing large scale paintings in Tonight We Make History, PS I Can't Be There at Blain Southern, Berlin. He also has a major print retrospective upcoming with Sims Reed Gallery in Mayfair, London.
