The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est marouflée sur carton. Le carton est fixé au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. La feuille a jauni. Le bord gauche est légèrement irrégulier. Quelques fines déchirures reconsolidées et quelques fines cassures du papier sont visibles le long des bords. Quelques petits trous et petits points de piqûre sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is laid on cardboard. The cardboard is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet has yellowed. The left edge is slightly irregular. A few fine consolidated tears and a few fine paper creases are visible along the edges. A few small holes and small foxing marks are visible in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
