The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné avec du ruban adhésif le long des bords. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Deux trous de punaise sont visibles dans les angles supérieurs. Les angles présentent de très petites traces de pliure. Les bords supérieur et gauche sont très légèrement irréguliers. Quelques très fines cassures du papier et de très légères traces de manipulation sont visibles par endroits à la périphérie de l’œuvre. Quelques très petits points d’accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Les irrégularités de surface sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support with adhesive tape along the edges. The sheet has slightly yellowed. Two pin holes are visible to the upper corners. The corners present very small folding marks. The upper and left edges are very slightly irregular. Very fine paper creases and very slight handling marks are visible in places to the periphery of the work. A few very small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. The irregularities to the surface are inherent to the artist’s working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
