The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Seal:
- in overall good condition
- expected minor dents to the edges and extremities
Tripod censer:
- malachite encrustation to the mouth
- a few minor gauge marks to the edge of base
- expected rubbing to the gilt, tarnishing to the metal and wear to feet
Brush rest:
- in overall good condition
- a minor casting flaw to one of the peaks which was original to manufacture
