We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Ding and cover:
- both vessel and cover appear to be in overall good condition
- both with some light glaze degradation
- some minor glaze flakes, including the ones on the handles
Jar:
- appears to be in overall good condition
- some losses associated with potting flaw to the interior
- some surface abrasion or minor glaze degradation, including to the mouth rims and shoulder
- negligible minor nicks to the foot rim
