The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slightly wavy. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. There are canvas draws in the upper left corner. There are stretcher marks visible in the centre along the entire width of the canvas and along the right vertical edge, with old associated retouchings. There are circular craquelures, with some associated minor paint losses along the upper left vertical edge and in the upper centre. There are minor frame abrasions visible along the edges. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
