The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- trimmed to or just outside the borderline
- the tip of the lower left corner made up, tip of the upper right corner folded
- a repaired, circular paper split on the rider's belt and smaller one on the left hind leg of the dog, both skilfully made up with pen and ink
- several minor repaired areas along the sheet edges
- a flattened horizontal crease across the centre of the sheet
- a pale stain on the hip of the rider
- very pale scattered foxing
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
