The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with small margins
- a tiny paper split at upper left centre, with an associated pale stain (approx. 14 mm., partially repaired), a short repaired nick at the lower left sheet edge (4 mm.)
- some pale foxing, mainly at the sheet edges and upper left
- a few short and unobtrusive horizontal printer's creases at centre
- hinged at the upper sheet edge verso, remains of old paper hinges at the right sheet edge verso
Otherwise as described and in good condition, framed.
