The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- generally with narrow to thread margins, the Resurrection (B. 56) trimmed just inside the platemark
- some very skilfully repaired tears
- some scattered foxing mainly visible verso, showing recto in places on B. 55
- The Betrayal (B. 45) with a skinned spot at lower left verso with an associated short 3 mm. tear
- Christ before Annas (B. 46) with some traces of blue pigment at upper right
- Crucifixion (B. 52), Descent (B. 53) and Resurrection (B. 56) the sheets slightly toned
- each hinged at the upper sheet edge, remains of some old paper hinges
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and generally in good condition.
