The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with narrow margins
- a vertical, soft, flattened fold across the height of the sheet visible verso
- two 4-mm. oblique, flattened folds at the lower left corner and a smaller one at the opposite corner
- the lower left corner made-up, a couple of short, repaired nicks at at the left sheet edge
- a tiny plugged hole at the right of the woman's hat
- very pale time staining, mainly at the left sheet edge
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
