The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- trimmed to or fractionally inside the platemark
- the sheet slightly toned, pale time staining at the extreme sheet edges, some pale scattered foxmarks, mainly at the lower right corner and visible verso, and one at the right of the woman holding the baby
- a few tiny made up areas along the sheet edges
- the upper right corner disturbed, with a few touches of pen and ink
- the tips of the lower right and upper left corners made up
- remains of previous adhesive hinges along the left sheet edge verso, four paper hinges at the four corners verso
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
