Overall good condition commensurate with age and use. The shade has about three cracked pieces of glass, one of which has multiple cracks (but tight and stable). The arms on the base are a bit loose where they attach to the center and hang down a bit; two of the arms have old solder repairs at these junctures. The wheel (round piece on which the shade sits) seems to be bent, as the shade appears slightly tilted from some angles. There is a small flattened area to one side of the base (about 2½ inches across)--this is difficult to notice unless you are pointedly looking for it. Small insulator ring around hole in base from which the cord issues is missing. GE & Co. paddle switches. Bronze heat cap appears old and likely original to the lamp.
The condition of lots sold can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair, and wear and tear. The nature of the lots sold means that they will rarely be in perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
