The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Cleaned and retouched. Some settled craquelure. Unobtrusive stretcher marks. Under UV light, scattered retouchings in the sky and down the right edge of the canvas. A broader patch of retouching runs laterally across the centre of the sky with a vertical line of retouching in the centre of the canvas running into the hills.
