    signed with initial 'B'(?) (on the portfolio lower right), with inscription 'Green Point / Cape of Good Hope / 1850-53.' on the reverse

    A top hatted figure, presumably Bowler, is fishing off the point (replacing here the usual Malay fisherman who appears in his coastal scenery), the artist's portfolio with the two seated ladies in the foreground.
