The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
There are a few small nicks to the interior of the cover and a small ground chip to the rim of the tureen base measuring approx. 2 x 0.6 cm. There is a firing flaw to the interior of the cover. There is age-related surface wear, light scratches and rubbing to the enamels, in particular on the finial and the handles, as expected.
