Redecorated overall, the current gilding rubbed and dirty, with particular rubbing to the high points of carving, and associated chipped losses. Rubbed to reveal red bole and clay throughout.
As stated both originally with glazing to the niches, now lacking.
A section to the lower edge of each base replaced.
Evidence of minor historic, and apparently inactive woodworm.

The larger arm (right hand):
Some historic, and inactive, woodworm to the thumb, with associated timber loss.
A loss to the border right side of the border to the niche.
The crown with losses to carving and to the points.
The base with shrinkage split.

The smaller arm (right hand):
The ebonised hand with losses and rubbing to decoration, with evidence of giding previously.
The index finger and thumb broken historically and reattached and decorated over.
The border to niche loose and would require securing.
Losses to the crown points, and some pieces reattached.

Otherwise both highly decorative and stable.
