The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Wear commensurate with age including signs of wear and abrasions to the gold and some fading to the mirror. Minor surface abrasions to the lacquer with a minor chip to the largest compartment opening.
-Additional marks: indistinct maker's mark.
-Lacquer: with minor surface abrasions
-Coral: with typical mottling characteristics, surface abrasions, and some areas with discoloration.
-Diamonds: bright and lively.
