The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Re-lined; with frame abrasions to the extreme edges; extensive fine craquelure; surface soiling; scattered minor areas of discoloration. Under natural light areas of wear and touch-up along edges/stretcher; some touch-up to the roof of the central building of the Imperial court; a few small spots of in-fill to sky and other tiny touch-ups. Under UV light a green varnish is apparent; the aforementioned touchups confirmed under UV light. Frames are not warrantied for condition and are sold as is.
